There is a bug in firmware version 219 on the Digta 415 which shows the battery as being empty, even if you've left the device charging for a reasonable amount of time.

To fix this problem, please upgrade to the latest firmware version by following the download links at http://www.grundig-gbs.com

Please also ensure that when charging, your recorder is switched off.
