It is very rare for a foot pedal to go faulty after a relatively short period of time, as all the pedals we supply are heavy duty.

If it has never worked: Check with the transcription software you have that it has foot pedal capacity. If so then try a rear USB port on your PC.

If it has worked and suddenly stopped: Try unplugging the USB plug, and plug it into a different rear USB port.
